KiC (Kids in Christ) - 5th-6th Graders
February KiC Event
5th & 6th graders are invited to join us for tubing at Buck Hill on Friday, February 26th. We'll meet at the church at 6pm, carpool to the hill, tube from 7-9pm, and return to the church at approximately 9:30pm. Cost is $13/person. Friends are welcome to join us! Sign up on the Children's Ministry bulletin board or contact Maria.
March KiC Event
5th & 6th graders and their families are invited to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children on Friday, March 12th from 6:00-7:30pm. (FMSC requires that children be in 3rd grade or older.) Families will meet at FMSC's Eagan location (990 Lone Oak Road, Suite 160, Eagan, MN) and package meals together. If you'd like to learn more about Feed My Starving Children, visit their website at www.fmsc.org. Sign ups for this event will be available soon - check the Children's Ministry bulletin board or contact Maria. We hope your family can join us!
What is KiC?
KiC is a ministry for 5th-6th graders that involves them in fun and meaningful activities through Farmington Lutheran Church. We meet once per month for fellowship or service projects that bring us all together just to have some fun! Past events have included tubing at Buck Hill, volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, movie nights, swim nights, bowling, corn mazes, a hockey game, and volunteering at Trinity Care Center.
Youth can sign up for each event on the Children's Ministries bulletin board.
