Bay Lake Bible Camp

Grades 4 – 6

Bay Lake Camp is located on a 72-acre island on Bay Lake near Brainerd, Minnesota. There are seven sleeping cabins and a separate bathhouse with modern facilities. A stone fireplace room welcomes campers to home-cooked meals. Enjoy the island’s sand beach for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, pontoon rides and fishing. Outdoor activities include hiking paths, volleyball court, soccer/baseball field and three campfire areas. On rainy days, a large pole building keeps campers busy with crafts, volleyball, basketball hoops, and ping pong.

Since last year's camp there have been some exciting new developments on the island. A brand new lodge facility was built on the grounds and the dining area has been enlarged and renovated. Campers can look forard to utilizing these new and improved facilities!

Jesus is! will be the 2008 theme, which will be used throughout the time at Bay Lake Camp. Through Bible studies, games, crafts, and songs the youth will explore how we experience Jesus in our lives. The daily themes will provide opportunities to communicate and discover how Jesus is a part of our past, present, and future - as the Son of God, as our healer, as our teacher, as our Savior, and as our friend.

2008 Cost – $210. Some scholarship money is available; please contact Maria Tarpinian, the Director of Children's Ministries, or Arlan Olson, the Youth Director for more information.

Timeline:
March 15 - Priority registration deadline for Farmington Lutheran youth. $100 deposit due.
March 16 - Open registration for friends/youth outside of Farmington Lutheran.
May 15 - Health Evaluation Form and final balance due.
