Music Ministries - Summer Opportunities

Summer Choir

Summer Choir is an opportunity for those who love to sing to come together once a month to sing for worship. The choir will sing June 10 th, July 1 st, and August 5 th. Rehearsals will be held just prior to the service at 8:00 A.M., with the choir singing in worship at 8:30. Repertoire will be selected from the new ELW Hymnal. Come share your gifts and meet new people as we lift our voices in praise.

Family Choir

Calling all families! Love to sing with your kids, grandkids, parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles? Wish you could do something with your kids, instead of only watching from the sidelines? Want something to share with your aging parent or grandparent? Farmington Lutheran is trying something new this summer. Beginning on June 24 th, we will launch Family Choir, a once a month choir with rehearsal prior to the worship service. Rehearsal will be held at 9:30 A.M., with the choir singing for 10:00 A.M. worship. The choir will sing June 24 th, July 22 nd, and August 26 th. The repertoire will be easily accessible. Mark you calendars and come join us for this fun, intergenerational activity!

WOV Worship

With One Voice Worship is held the third Sunday of every month. If you play a musical instrument, please consider joining us. Parts are available for flute, violin, oboe, clarinet, French Horn, trumpet, trombone, cello, and bass. Please call Doreen Bondy in the church office for more information.

Contemporary Worship

Contemporary Worship takes place the 4 th Sunday of every month. If you play guitar, bass or drums, have previous “band” experience, or enjoy singing in a small group, please contact Doreen Bondy in the church office for more information.
