I pledge to pray with the Call Committee daily

“Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.”

Philippians 4:6

Gracious God, I give thanks and praise for Your wonderful love, and Your endless grace and mercy that is showered on me every day of my life. What an awesome gift that I might give my worries and cares to You, for You care about me. I am Your child, an heir to Your kingdom, and You know me by name. Praise and thanks be to You, my loving steadfast Savior.

As a disciple of Farmington Lutheran Church I pray that You will unite the hearts and prayers of all who are touched by this ministry, that we may be one in the Spirit and united in peace and harmony as we await the calling of our new Senior Pastor.

I pray that the call committee be filled with Your wisdom and discernment. Give to that group a sense of unity and oneness in the Spirit as they seek to hear Your voice. Give them and me a sense of patience and timing as we seek Your guidance and Your will.

In this time of prayer and change, give us hearts for the journey so that we might feel Your presence in new and special ways and with joyful anticipation create in us new hearts to follow Your lead.
